Spring is in full swing, summer is slowly but surely knocking on the door and your garden is starting to produce flowers, fruits or vegetables. But the aphids may disrupt this. These are among the most feared pests. No wonder. The aphids attack virtually all plant species from which they vacuum the sap and transmit various diseases to them. At the same time, they exclude sweet liquid, or honeydew that clogs the pores and promotes the formation of so -called black mold. They can completely destroy your crop. Although they only live a few days to weeks, they reproduce very quickly. So once you have aphids in the garden and do nothing with them, your plants will be in the constant cycle of the disease, and eventually all will die. So how to prevent this?

How to aphid
First, it is very important to know how you will know that your plant has been attacked by aphids. Of course, the first option is to see them. They always move in groups and located on the underside of the leaves. Another indicator may be ants, as you live with aphids in happy symbiosis. They protect them from predators, and in return feast on the honeydew they produce. When the aphids attack the plant, you can also recognize it by twisted leaves with light spots. At the same time, the growth of the plant and the production of flowers and fruits slows down.
The fact that the plant is attacked by aphids can actually be recognized easily. The question is how to destroy them. Of course, you can also use chemical sprays, but this may have a bad impact on the health of the plant. From Hungary, however, came to us a very interesting and effective trick to kill aphids even without chemistry. All you need is onion and water. You will see that the IS with these two ingredients will successfully get rid of the aphids without threatening the health of the plant.
Onion spray
The basic ingredients are a liter of water and one medium -sized onion. If you do not accidentally have the onion, you can replace it with two garlic cloves. Place the onion in the blender and mix it. Then let it infuse in the water, ideally overnight. The next day you are practically done. Just drain and pour into the sprayer. Then you just spray on the plants and you’re done.
