The movement happens one day after the president of the TSE, minister Cármen Lúcia, denounce the case during a session of the Electoral Court. The magistrate classified the episode as a “Unacceptable conduct of discrimination and racism”, He added that a letter was sent to her to the committee chairman, Manoel Caetano Ferreira.
Union’s general lawyer, Jorge Messias, had already warned the court that he would adopt “measures to understand what happened.”
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Presidency’s Public Ethics Commission sympathized with the case, but said the board “It does not have any administrative or managerial responsibility on the property where the fact occurred.”
