Laj Čing -tens on Tuesday – on the occasion of the anniversary in office – promised to “prepare for war to avoid war” and strengthen the economic resistance of the island. At that time, China sent several amphibious armored vehicles to the waters at the East China province of Fu-Nien, which is closest to Taiwan.
