Thousands of fans are expected this Saturday at the National Stadium for the Portuguese Cup final between Sporting and Benfica. As usual, PSP has left some recommendations to those who will watch the game and also alert to drivers who have to move in the Jamor area.
The PSP released a series of recommendations on Wednesday to the fans who will watch this Saturday at the Portuguese Cup final between Sporting and Benfica in Jamor, being prepared a strong security device.
Thousands of people are expected at the National Stadium, and this year to prevent fans from spending the evening camped, like what happened in previous years.
PSP recommendations
Besides appealing to the adoption of “Responsible behaviors and attitudes” In order to avoid “conflict” or disorder situations, the PSP stresses that, if necessary, it will intervene to “replace safety conditions” and ensure normality. But let’s go to the recommendations list:
- Adepts should give preference to travel in public transport and properly in advance (the doors open at 2:15 pm)
- In case of use of own vehicles, follow the indications in all roads according to the color of the billion and consequent parking in watched parks and intended for the purpose
- Avoid carrying bags and backpacks inside the sports venue
- If not have a ticket, avoid travel to the stadium
- Sporting supporters should enter the south side of the stadium – Park 1, coming directly from A9 (CREL) heading towards Marginal/Algés
- Benfica supporters should access the north side of the stadium – Park 2 and 3, coming from A5, in both directions, follow the stadium indication signs, going directly to Park 2 and 3, which is parallel to A5
PSP also warns of the use of pyrotechnics and also remembers that it is illegal the distribution and sale of “false or irregular” ticketsthe unauthorized entry on the pitch, as well as the participation in a feud on the trip to the sports event or the practice of damage to public transport or equipment used by the public.
The constraints to traffic
If it does not go to the final of the cup, but still circulates through the national stadium zone, know that Since Tuesday there are some constraints to traffic circulation. They are:
- In Park 3 (P3) it will only be possible, who comes from A5, descending to Av. Pierre de Coubertin, to Av. Marginal. It is not possible to circumvent Av. Pierre de Coubertin and access A5 again by the Golf area
- Those who come down and come through the cheese tunnel can only access A5, not being able to park at Av. Pierre de Coubertin
- Anyone who wants to access the Jamor pool zone (P4) will only move to Av. Pierre de Coubertin towards Marathon and P3 Square, for exceptional situations
- On the day of the game, the road circulation will be fully closed at Av. Pierre de Coubertin
