Fear of a collapse in Syria

The abolition of EU sanctions against Syria coincides with a US alarm: Foreign Minister Marco Rubio warned in the Senate in Washington of a potential collapse of the new Syrian government and a “full civil war of epic proportions” within months. President Donald Trump also wants to end the punitive measures that were imposed on the Assad regime.
