The Ambassador will be summoned by the Israeli Army’s shots against diplomats in the West Bank, the French Foreign Minister, Jean-Noël Barrot, said. Barrot called the shots “unacceptable” and announced that the Israeli ambassador would be summoned to provide an “explanation.”

The army added that they were not reported injured and lamented “the disorders caused” during the delegation visit, which included diplomats from, Japan, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Romania. The incident occurred amid growing international pressures on Israel for its relentless offensive in the Gaza Strip.
