Minecraft Realms: Know what it is, price and how it works to play online

Minecraft Realms is an official Mojang service that seeks to simplify players’ access to other players, allowing you to have fun with friends in other worlds. Without the feature, both in the Bedrock and Java edition this requires the use of third party programs, which is not intuitive for some users. With Realms, the idea is to facilitate gambling for those who are not familiar with the concepts of accommodation on the internet, ensuring the management of their own worlds and entering public servants.

Here’s more details about Minecraft Realms and learn how the tool to play online with your friends works. Remember that Minecraft is available for PlayStation 5 (PS5), PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch, plus Android and Iphone (iOS) and Xbox Game Pass phones. The price of the game ranges from $ 74.95 to $ 199 in consoles and computers, while the mobile version starts from $ 9.90.

What is Minecraft Realms?

Developed and maintained by Mojang Studios, Minecraft Realms ensures a stable and protected accommodation experience for those who want to play with others in a controlled environment. It is a subscription service that offers access to personal servers within Minecraft, allowing you to play online with friends in a practical and safe way.

How does Minecraft Realms work?

With Minecraft Realms, the user can create three permanent world slots, which guarantees guests the ability to access the active world on any compatible platform and at no additional cost, as long as they are using the same edition of the game. Basically, you can create personalized servers in the survival, creative and adventure modes in a few steps.

The best part is that your server always remains online, allowing your guests to enter anytime without the need for a host. However, remember that an additional signature is required-Xbox Game Pass, PS Plus or Nintendo Switch online-to access multiplayer mode via console.

What are the differences between Minecraft Realms for Bedrock and Java Edition?

Minecraft has two editions that are not compatible with each other, ie players cannot go to real servers created in a distinct editions from the than they have. Bedrock Edition, created in C ++ language, is available for mobile phones, tablets, consoles and computers with Windows 10 or Windows 11. Java Edition is focused only on PC, Mac and Linux.

To identify which version you are playing, check the main menu of the game. If “Java Edition” appears below the Minecraft logo, you are using this version. Otherwise, this is the Bedrock Edition.

What are Minecraft Realms’s prices and signatures?

Minecraft Realms offers signature plans that vary according to the platform. Payment is usually monthly and can be made directly by the game itself. To purchase a subscription, just go to the “Play” menu, select “Create New World” and then choose the “Create in Realms” option. If it is the first time, you can enjoy a free 30 -day test.

Does Minecraft Realms support mods?

Minecraft Realms does not support complete support for more complex mods, such as those used on Forge or Fabric dedicated servers that add new blocks, creatures or advanced mechanics. For this type of customization, it is best to create a dedicated server outside Realms, where you can install mods freely.

However, there are still ways to customize experience within Realms. At Java Edition, you can use data packs, which are sets of files responsible for modifying aspects such as maps, textures and skins. Bedrock Edition has support for add-ons, which are complements made available by Mojang on the official website.
