Moments after the country’s (National Council of Justice) of granting new benefits and financial advantages to members of the judiciary through administrative decisions, on Tuesday (20), the MPF (Federal Public Prosecution Service) was in the opposite direction and recognized retroactive labor benefits for prosecutors, for a period of over ten years, from January 2015.
The Deputy Attorney General, Hindenburgo Chateaubriand Filho, complied with the MPF to a request made by associations of representation of careers of the Union Public Prosecution Service-Labor Prosecutors, the Military Prosecutor, the Federal District and Territories, as well as the MPF itself. The decision states that the recognition of such rights may only occur after the final judgment of collective lawsuits or based on qualified precedents of higher courts.
