Corn balls with processed cheese

You will first need 1 larger corn ears and 2 medium -sized potatoes. Subsequently, simmer together in a pressure cooker or cook. When the corn and potatoes are finished and pretty soft, carefully remove them, ideally using kitchen pliers. Strain the water and allow the potatoes and corn to cool at room temperature. Once the corn is cool, remove the grains using the knife. Peel the potatoes and put them in a bowl. Crush them and add corn grains.

Now take the processed cheese and grate about 50 grams. Set aside and move to the spices. Add half a teaspoon of ground garlic, half a teaspoon of ground pepper to a mixture of corn and potatoes and sprinkle with salt to taste. Stir everything, and then add the processed cheese, half a teaspoon of basil, half a teaspoon of dried oregano and 4 tablespoons of plain flour. Mix the whole mixture thoroughly, taste, and add some ingredients if necessary.

With your hands from the mixture, start creating small balls about the size of a golf ball. Now take a deep pan, put a lot of oil in it and heat on the middle flame. When you throw one ball into the oil, it should ride medium quickly to the surface. If the oil is too hot, the ball will rise too fast, if the oil is poorly hot, the ball will rise slowly. Once you find the right temperature, add the rest of the balls to the oil and fry them for a few minutes until they are evenly golden. Then let them cool on paper towels. This also absorbs excess oil. And you’re done. Serve them with a dip or sauce at will. Bon appetite!
