In the official note, MPOR says that the Brazilian government has created conditions for companies operating in the sector to restructure, “facing the challenges that are placed and even stronger from adversity, for the benefit of passengers and for job and income generation”.

After receiving the US court endorsement, Gol said this afternoon it was “focused on completing the final steps” of the process. The next step is a general shareholder assembly to approve the capital increase provided for in the plan, called for the 30th of this month.

“The company will leave the process of Chapter 11 from the United States with competitive position, balanced balance and operational performance,” he says to Gol.
