Members of the Financial Administration (FS) of the Slovak Republic found marijuana cigarettes, medicines and steroid hormones in postal consignments from the UK instead of toys and football cards. They were addressed to the same person. TASR informed Katarína Danková from the Košice Customs Office, saying that they handed over cases for further proceedings to the police.
On Friday (May 16), they checked a postal shipment in which a plastic toy was supposed to be worth £ 30. “FS members noticed a non -compliance between the declared and actual content during the X -ray control, so they decided to carry out a complete internal control of the shipment. The suspicion was confirmed,” she stated.
She said that there were ten marijuana cigarettes, marijuana product in gel capsules, and short -term anxiety treatments that They are prescribed due to a strong effect on brain activity.
In view of this, they carried out a complete customs check on Monday (19.5) even in the case of another shipment from the same sender who was addressed to the same natural person. “After opening the consignment, in which, according to the filed customs declaration, football cards and a 25 -pound plastic toy were imported into our territory, identical marijuana cigarettes were detected as in the previous case, syringes, needles and steroid hormone testosterone in a glass ampoule,” Daňková added.
