Half of the young people who participated in a study in the UK support a rule that blocks applications like Tiktok or Instagram from a certain time of night.

Almost half of young people between 16 and 21 say he would rather live in a world without the internet. This is what a recent study is done in the UK, in which more than 1,200 young people were heard.

More than 1/4 spends at least four hours a day on social networks. And almost 70% says he feels worse with himself after using these applications.

Half of the young people responded support a rule that blocks applications like Tiktok or Instagram from a certain time of night. An idea that the British government will be considering.

Psychiatrist Gustavo Jesus says that the use of social networks by young people “has been the target of many studies.”

“There is several evidence that use, especially if it is excessive in number of hours and if it is early in terms of ages, can have very harmful effects,” he told sic.

Experts argue that it is necessary to make nets less addictive and safer for those who use them, especially the younger ones.
