Suspected of integrating criminal organization is arrested in Porto Velho after joint action by the Civil Police of Acre and Rondônia
According to information from the Civil Police, the investigation conducted by the team of Mâncio Lima identified the whereabouts of the suspicion in the capital of Rondoniense. From there, the Acre police called the corporation of Rondônia, which complied with the arrest warrant issued by the court.
Investigations indicate that women are linked to a criminal network involved in the supply of narcotics to several municipalities of Acre, especially in the Juruá region, contributing significantly to the increase of local crime.
Mâncio Lima Civil Police Delegate, José Obetanio, stressed the importance of the interstate partnership for the implementation of the arrest.
“This action represents an important advance in combating drug trafficking and organized crime that directly affect our communities. Integration between Civil Police of Acre and Rondônia was fundamental to locate and arrest this suspicion. This is a clear example of how cooperative work between institutions can bring concrete results for public safety,” said the delegate.
The suspicion will be transferred to Acre, where it will be available to the court. Investigations are ongoing to identify other members of the criminal organization and completely dismantle the trafficking network in the region.
