I dissolve in water and water the peonies. A familiar botanist told me a recipe for a home -made peony
In terms of botanical, it is small perennials or semi -clips. Depending on the variety, they can reach a different height. Tree peony can grow up to 2 meters. This species is long -lived and properly nurtured can bloom for up to 20 years. In Poland, peonies are planted both in gardens and as balcony flowers. It is worth knowing that this is a rather capricious plant. It happens that for some reason flowering is suspended. The ground is key to the flowering of peonies. This plant grows best on a slightly acidic surface with a pH within 6. If you noticed that your peony began to waste and does not want to bloom, it is worth considering the use of a rich fertilizer that slightly acides the soil. A friend of the botanist said that fertilizer from unsermped yeast would work best for the peonies. It works at several levels and perfectly stimulates plant development. Bakery yeast fertilizer improves soil structure and increases plant resistance. It works like a growth stimulator and stimulates flowering. How to prepare home -made peony based on yeast? All you have to do is dissolve 1 cube of fresh yeast in 10 liters of water and set aside for an hour. After this time, the fertilizer is ready. You can water it with peonies from spring to the end of the flowering season.
How to care for peonies so that they bloom beautifully and long?
It starts with a proper planting. Choose a sunny position for them with well -permeable soil, preferably slightly acidic. It is important that the roots have enough space, so keep a distance of about 90 cm between plants. When planting, make sure that growth buds are shallow below the surface of the earth – too deep planting may result in a lack of flowering. After planting, water the plant abundantly.
Regular watering, especially during periods of drought, is crucial for healthy growth and abundant. Fertilization, preferably with multi -component fertilizers, supports the development of the plant – fertilization perform in early spring and after flowering. After flowering, remove withered flowers so that the plant does not lose energy on seed production. In autumn, after the first frosts, cut the shoots just above the ground. Also remember to protect against fungal diseases – check the leaves regularly and use the right fungicides.
