United States President Donald Trump, in his first comments on Wednesday’s gunfire (21), sent condolences to the families of the two employees of Israel’s embassy near the capital’s Jewish museum in Washington, DC

“These horrible DC murders, obviously based on anti -Semitism, need to end, now! Hatred and radicalism have no place in the US. Condoes to the victims’ families. It’s very sad that things like this can happen! God bless everyone,” the president wrote in a publication on his social platform.

US Attorney General Pam Bondi said at a news conference after the gunfire she talked to the president “several times tonight.”

“On behalf of the president, his prayers are with all of us, the entire Jewish community, all in Washington, DC, state, local and federal agencies, and our great US Attorney Jeanine Pirro, who will act as a promoter in this case,” said Bondi.

Bondi added that federal agencies “will work side by side” with Washington’s authorities to do “everything we can to keep our citizens safe.”
