Iran warns of Israeli attacks on nuclear facilities, and the US also attributed responsibility

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakči said that in the event of any Israeli attacks on Tehran nuclear facilities, the United States will also be responsible. Arakčí’s statement came after the news in the American media that Israel was planning a blow to Iran. TASR reports this according to Thursday’s report AFP.

“We believe that in the event of any attack of the Zionist regime on the nuclear facilities of the Iranian Islamic Republic, the United States government will also be involved and will be responsible,” Arakčí said in a letter to the UN, which they published on Thursday.

Warning of attack

This happened despite the continuation of the negotiations between Iran and the United States on Tehran nuclear program, while the next round of indirect interviews is scheduled for Friday. Since the beginning of negotiations, Israel has been in danger of using force against Iranian nuclear devices.

“Iran strongly warns of any (ill -considered behavior) of the Zionist regime and definitely responds to any threat or unlawful act of this regime,” Arakči added.

Nuclear Agreement Talks

CNN reported on Tuesday that Israel is preparing an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities.

From April 12, Tehran and Washington led four rounds of indirect interviews at the highest level since 2018, when US President Donald Trump resigned from the nuclear agreement of the great powers with Iran. It mitigated sanctions on Iran in exchange for limiting his nuclear activities. Tehran after the US withdrawal has ceased to comply with the agreement and progressed significantly in nuclear development.

Support of nuclear activities

Western powers blame Iran for trying to get nuclear weapons. Tehran has long denied this and claims that its nuclear program is designed exclusively for civilian purposes.

On Thursday, a group of demonstrators gathered south of Tehran near the Uranus Fordow factory to support the country’s nuclear activities. The crowd waved Iranian flags and chanted slogans such as “nuclear energy is our inalienable right” or “no compromise, no surrender, just confrontation with America”, writes AFP.
