The City Council of São Paulo approved the creation of the Parliamentary Front in combating. The initiative is authored by Councilman Rubinho Nunes (União Brasil), who also proposed a CPI on the subject.
“O, is the bankruptcy of the state. It is the complete absence of the public power, which allows trafficking, money laundering and sexual exploitation to advance in communities. The population is surrounded by fear, unable to rest, live in peace or raise their children with dignity,” said the parliamentarian.
The proposal also covers any clandestine event that occurs illegally in the city streets.
The parliamentary front will be composed of councilors from different parties and will have a deadline to present a report with diagnoses, proposals and solutions on the subject.
