Leaders of dinner on Tuesday (20) with the Dean of (Supreme Federal Court), Minister, to discuss problems in the relationship between Legislative and Judiciary and seek ways to prevent friction from climbing to a new crisis between powers.
Although not all problems have been discussed, the noise list ranges from the amnesty project to the convicts of the January 8 coup attacks to the decision of the Chamber to lock the Criminal Action against the deputy (PL-RJ) that was rejected by the STF-to the crises of parliamentary amendments.
The meeting brought together leaders and party presidents in a house in Lake Sul, a noble neighborhood of Brasilia. The mayor, (-PB), was in a meeting with mayors of Paraíba and did not participate-but Gilmar left dinner saying that he would meet Motta that night.
The dinner featured PT parliamentarians, Republicans, União Brasil, MDB, PP, PC do B, PSD, among others, and was marked to seek alternatives for conflicts between Congress and the Supreme.
According to reports, parliamentarians and the minister advocated the need to vote on an agenda of projects of interest to Brazil, linked to health, education and public safety, to take the focus of friction around the amnesty project.
Hours earlier, in a meeting with party leaders, Motta was charged by the deputy (-MG) and others of the opposition by a public position on the bill and stated about the broad amnesty for the prisoners and convicts and that the text will not pass the strength.
According to the mayor, it is no use voting for a broad amnesty in the plenary of the house, and that President Lula (PT) sanction it because the STF will declare it unconstitutional later. The speech was poorly received by PL, the former president’s party, who has pressured Motta to make the text advance.
