The free market will have a new executive president from next year, the company said on Wednesday, after its board of directors approved the transition of the current CEO, Marcos Galperin, to a more strategic position.
Galperin will assume the position of executive president of the Council, effective from January 1, 2026, according to a statement from the e-commerce giant. On the same date, Ariel Szarfsztejn, current president of Free Market trade, assumes as CEO.
