At the end of the plenary session of Wednesday (21), the president of the House (Republicans-PB) officialized the announcement of creating a working group on administrative reform. The details of the WG began to be adjusted at the meeting of today’s leaders, from which the decision came to withdraw the points related to the reform of the server readjustment bill – recently approved in the House.

“All parties of the house will be represented in this group with a member. We will give a period of 45 days for the working group to elaborate a proposal for efficiency of the public machine of our country. This project does not serve a pole or another in this house, serves a company for better quality public services,” said Motta.

The mayor argued that the purpose of the group “is not to withdraw rights from any category or make any persecution.” “What the presidency thinks is that we can advance using points that are already used in other countries, such as the use of technology to provide better service to the population. We can have more efficiency, agility in answers to the people, especially in public services, education, health public safety,” he said.

According to Motta, one of the “highest expectations about what the house can do” is “work by a more efficient public machine.” “We will be creating this working group so that, within this time, a proposal will be presented and we can bring to the plenary for its vote,” said the mayor.

The mayor also nods to Deputy Zé Trovão (PL-SC) by “recognizing his role” in the creation of the WG. Motta stated that Thunder has sought him out since March to deal with administrative reform. “I have no doubt that the leader (from the PL) Sostenes Cavalcante will put him in the GT,” he said. In the same statement, Motta nominally cited Deputy Pedro Paulo (PSD-RJ) who is quoted to be the coordinator of the working group.
