In post on social network X, Angela Gandra, Daughter of jurist Ives Gandracriticized the Case against the father in the Brazilian Bar AssociationSectional São Paulo (OAB-SP).
“My father Ives Gandra had to defend himself once again, supporting orally in the OAB, against the accusation of incitement at the 90-year-old, 60-year-old law, 66 years of law, for something he wrote in 1988. The obsession completely nullifying the achievement of justice,” he said on Tuesday (20).
In referring to the year 1988, Angela recalled the fact that the jurist collaborated to the meeting that implemented the current constitution, which was born that year.
Ives Gandra responds at the OAB-SP Ethics Court to an ethical-disciplinary process filed by the Brazilian Press Association (ABI) and the National Human Rights Movement (MNDH).
In the process, the entities point to investigations by the Federal Police (PF) who revealed a document on the mobile phone by Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid under the name of Ives Gandra in which the feasibility of military intervention by constitutional means is described.
Mauro Cid was an assistant to former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and today, for involvement in what would be an attempt to coup.
