A fluffy sponge cake filled with a soft cream and sprinkled with powdered sugar is a real delicacy that has been pleased for years to residue Wadowice and tourists from all over the world. Wadowic creams became a symbol and an integral part of the city, where Karol Wojtyła († 84), known in the world, was known as Pope John Paul II.
Creamy cakes became “Papal”, when in 1999 during his visit to Poland John Pavol II. He spoke famous words in Wadowice. “And there was a confectionery. After graduation we went to cream,” he said.
