The Peanuts project, created in 2020 by Algarve Joana Jesus, marks this Saturday, May 24, its 5th birthday with a special event at the Quintalão Studio in Faro. The celebration invites the community to take a break at the rapid pace of everyday life and to rediscover the pleasure of slowing, in a moment of sharing, well-being and reflection.
With the motto “Take a Break”, Joana proposes a different celebration, where the focus is not on work or money, but in time for himself, self -care, creativity and personal balance. “What if your next lucky cookie would not bring a forecast, but a reminder?” Asks the founder of the project.
One of the big news of the event will be the launch of a free and free Peanuts Personal Finance Template, created to simplify the financial management of everyday life. This new feature will be available to all participants.
Over the past five years, Peanuts has taken its message to basic, secondary schools and universities, promoting lectures and practical workshops on well-being, conscious habits and financial literacy, positively impacting hundreds of children, youth and adults.
For this celebration, Peanuts has the support of 35 regional and national partners, in an event that aims to thank the community for the affection and involvement since the foundation of the project.
Massages, yoga, games, shares, cake decoration, snacks and more are part of the program of this free meeting, which values leisure and the pleasure of taking care of yourself. Registration is mandatory, and leisure activities, starting at 15:00, have limited vacancies.
Participation also gives access to a Goodie Bag with offers and discounts, as well as the personal finance template, designed for those who want to start managing their resources better, without complications.
“For the first time, who is at the top of the mountain is not work. Not the money. We are us,” says Joana Jesus.
