Plateosaurus was able to move tail as a whip at an overs sound speed

Vienna – Since 2021, the remains of a 210 million -year -old plateausaurer have been part of the show in the Natural History Museum (NHM) Vienna. A research team has now devoted itself to the anatomy of the cock of the “Wiener” copy of Plateosaurus Trossingensis, which was recovered in Switzerland. The conclusion: The herbivter could have used it as a veritable whip with quite strength against predators, as it says in the journal “Royal Society Open Science”.
