The national president of União Brasil, Antonio Rueda, evaluates that the Lula (PT) government has lost political traction, isolated itself in its own subtitles and has failed to deliver concrete results. “David has already chosen his side, but will respect the federation’s decision. He wants to help the government, but knows how to separate it from the party decision,” he said.
Regarding any departure from the ministries if the party does not support Lula to reelection, Rueda said the issue will be dealt with in 2026, respecting the electoral calendar. “Who has to decide this is the government. As long as they want our contribution, we will contribute,” he said.
