An injured person in the knife attack at Wiener Yppenplatz

Vienna-A man attacked a 24-year-old passerby at Yppenplatz in Vienna-Ottakring with a knife early Friday afternoon. The victim was given a stab in the throat. The injury is not life -threatening, said police spokeswoman Anna Gut. The perpetrator fled in an unknown direction. Witnesses chose the emergency call. The Viennese professional rescue provided the 24-year-old emergency medical and delivered it to a hospital.
