Rio Branco City Hall announces a measure that promises to warm the local economy: the advance payment of salaries of about 9,000 servers, including effective, commissioners and service providers. The values will be available for consultation in the accounts in the early hours of Friday, the 25th.

This initiative is not only limited to regular payment, also covering extra shifts and services provided in the month. The anticipation is a reflection of the commitment of the management of Mayor Tião Bocalom, who has kept salaries strictly up to date since the beginning of his term.
According to Marcus Lucena, municipal secretary of administrative management, anticipation shows respect for the servers and reflects the mayor’s view to value them, recognizing the positive impact of this measure on the city’s economy. “When the server receives before, he moves trade, pays bills and invests. This generates revenue for the municipality and is the result of responsible and planned management,” explained Lucena.
The anticipation of payments directly benefits trade in the capital, contributing to the heating of sales and boosting municipal revenue.
