A couple of visitors, both about 50, starred in an unusual and cinematic moment when entering the iconic Fontana di Trevi in Rome during the early hours of May 11.
Around two in the morning, the two tourists decided to dive and dancing embracing inside the source, evoking the famous scene of Federico Fellini’s classic “The Sweet Life”. The moment attracted the attention of several people, including Italian police officers, who watched the scene between curious looks and applause from the crowd.
Despite the almost romantic atmosphere, the gesture has been worth a fine of 450 €.
