About to take over a Ministry of the Lula Government, the federal deputy (-SP) left the presidency of the Parliamentary Front for the fight against inequalities, which brings together representatives of various subtitles. The post was assumed by also Pastor Henrique Vieira (RJ).
At a meeting on Wednesday (21), the front discussed the defense of a tax reform with social justice, the proposal for exemption from income tax for those who earn up to $ 5,000, and the confrontation of social and environmental inequalities.
“The front has fulfilled a role inside the house and out, incorporating the demands that come from the organizations that act directly, in everyday life, in the fight against inequalities,”
He also cited the mobilization in defense of the project to combat inequality and the end of the 6×1 scale.
Already Vieira stated that he will dedicate, among other themes, to fight hunger and the concentration of income. “We cannot naturalize hunger, barbarism, inequality. We need another tax model that is not inducer and perpetuator of their own inequality,” he said.
