The Minister of Education said on Friday (23/5) that the National High School Exam () of 2025 will be used again to achieve the completion of high school. Participants over 18, who do not have full basic education, may receive certification depending on the grade reached.
By 2016, participants had to reach at least 450 points in each of the areas of knowledge of the tests and grade above 500 points in the writing to get the certificate. The following year, the Ministry of Education () defined that the exam would be only for selection for higher education.
Since then, the alternative for those who needed the elementary and high school diploma was the National Exam for Certification of Youth and Adult Skills (Encceja). The good performance in the official proof in the annual editions resulted in obtaining the certificate.

Candidates will have from May 26 to June 6 to register. Objective and writing tests will be applied on November 9 and 16.
On November 9, it is scheduled to apply the Language Block and Human Sciences, as well as the essay. In total there are 40 Portuguese and five -language or Spanish -language questions, as well as 45 human science questions. On November 16, the test will bring 45 mathematics questions and 45 Natural Sciences questions.
