Summer is around the corner and the latest meteorological calculations are already showing what conditions are waiting for us in Europe. Long -term forecasts that date back to September show that extremely warm months will be accompanied by heat and frequent storms, writes the portal.
According to the forecasts, the greatest surprise will be the weather during the month of June, which is to be atypically cool. Three renowned models agree that June will not bring typical summer temperatures. In Central Europe, it should be cooler, with values on the average or below -average level.
June should still be relatively mild, but in July and August a significant weather change is expected. The ECMWF model (the European Center for Medium -term weather forecasts), which experts consider to be the most reliable, predicts that the area with lower air pressure will remain above Northern Europe, while a high -pressure projection is formed above the Atlantic and partly above Central Europe. This combination should bring significant warming, especially in Central and Northern Europe.
Similar warmer conditions are predicted by other meteorological models, while Central Europe should record the most significant deviations from the average temperatures. According to meteorologists, thermal anomalies will be most prominent in the middle and northern part of the continent, While they will be milder in Western Europe and in the British Isles.
