Maracanã goalkeeper Rayr became one of the characters in the third phase of the Brazilian Cup after this Thursday (22).

At 31 minutes of the first half, when the score was still 0-0, Edna Alves scored a penalty for Inter by hand in the Wilker area. Alan Patrick went to the charge, tried to give a cavadinha, but stopped in the hands of Rayr, who didn’t even have to move much to keep the ball.

In the break of the game, the goalkeeper revealed a prophecy of his father about the penalty.

“About the penalty, oddly enough, my father told me that he was going to have a penalty today, Alan Patrick was going to give cavadinha, and I was going to defend the penalty. So, thank God and thank my father. Dude, I can not believe yet. Dad, I love you,” he said in an interview with Premiere on the edge of the lawn.

If the first “prophesied” defense was not enough by his father, Rayr saved him again in the second half. Wesley was knocked down in the area and he himself went to the charge, but also stopped in Rayr’s hands. In rebound, Wesley sent out.

By this time, Inter win by 1-0 with a goal from Alan Patrick, who redeemed himself with the fans after the unsuccessful cavadinha. Colorado shirt 10 still had a chance to hit another penalty, but wasted again, this time sending the crossbar.

Finally, Wesley and Oscar Romero scored to close the score of 3 to 0 and ensure.
