Former player Léo Moura participated in a friendly charity in Sena Madureira this weekend and received a motion of applause from Rio Branco City Council, in recognition of his involvement with social projects in Acre. The event attracted a crowd to the local stadium and had as its main objective to collect support for actions in favor of vulnerable people.

In an emotional speech, Leo thanked for the affection of the public and highlighted his relationship with the state, where he has been four times. “It is the fifth time I am here, and always received with great affection. See the stadium this way for a very important match, to help those who need it, makes me very happy,” he said.
During his speech, the former defender also made a point of praising the federal deputy Alan Rick, whom he credited much of the success of the social project he represents. “I’m just a piece of this project, but it’s the name of Alan Rick that deserves the applause. From the beginning, he was an enthusiast of the social part. When we talked about the project, he was the first to raise his arm and say ‘I want to take to the state,” he said.
Leo still stated his gratitude to the parliamentarian team and did not hide his fans for higher flights of the politician: “I spoke there at our friend Dario’s house: I came here to see you federal deputy, I came here to see you senator, and I will come here to see you future governor of the state.”
In the end, the former athlete also thanked the mayor, the deputies and councilors present, as well as the host of the event. “We receive at home who we love, so I’m happy to have entered the door of your house. Thank you, people of Acre, for the usual affection. Thanks!” He concluded.
