Despite all the crises and turbulence in which the auto industry is currently there: The mood at this year’s Vienna Motor Symposium was not even bad because the changes also offer many opportunities. But it was no longer worn by the unrestricted rule of the internal combustion engine. Of course, it was characterized by uncertainty about the future in competition with Asian manufacturers, especially China. There are even many strangers in the current challenges, the supply of raw materials for batteries and with electrical electricity. At the same time, the old structures are already breaking away, which brought prosperity over decades and formed a secure economic basis for investments.
