My grandmother always waters tomatoes. Nobody in the village has major crops

Tomato seedlings require proper care, moreover, like all plants from a vegetable garden. Fertilization is also necessary in their cultivation. This time we give a recipe for fertilizer from bay leaveswhich almost every grandmother uses.

At the beginning, young tomato cuttings are bred in the room where They should have access to light for at least 6 hours. If we do not have such an opportunity, then we use artificial lighting.

The room temperature should be from 18 to 22 degrees Celsius. Tomatoes tolerate sudden temperature changes and drafts badly – These factors can significantly weaken them. We do not forget about regular irrigation of specimens.

When the first leaves appear on the plant, we proceed to quiltingi.e. the transfer of seedlings to larger containers and separating them. They should still have the right position and temperature. It is also a good time to start gentle fertilization.

Before, we must harden them so that they get used to the conditions outside. We gradually take them outside.

We use bay leaves in the kitchen in many dishes, e.g. for stews. It turns out that you can make them a conditioner for tomatoes, which is worth starting after quilting.

This kitchen ingredient has vitamins: A, C, E and group B, as well as minerals, i.e. magnesium, iron, calcium, zinc, potassium. Thanks to them, the plants will be strengthened and better acclimatize in the new environment.

Bay leaves have antibacterial and antifungal propertiestherefore cuttings will be immune to diseases and pests. After such fertilization, they will spend good quality crops.

We need a natural fertilizer for tomatoes 4 bay leaves per 1 l of water. We adapt a portion of the conditioner to the amount of seedlings.

So, put bay leaves into a jar and pour them with warm water (its temperature should be 70 degrees Celsius). We close the dish tightly and set aside for a minimum of 5 hours, preferably all night.

Finally, strain the liquid and water the plants with it once a week. We can also use such fertilizer as a preventive spraying for fungal diseases. Then pour it into a bottle with an atomizer and spray it with the leaves and stems of tomatoes.
