The next president of the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) will be Be patient41, son of the agent of the Federation of Roraima, Zeca Xaud. The election of the entity will take place this Sunday (25/05), with a single plate, given the support number of state federations that are next to Samir.
Samir Xaud’s candidacy, registered on the 18th, received the support of 25 federations. The exceptions were Mato Grosso and São Paulo.
It was also necessary for ten clubs to support Samir. The number was achieved with teams from series A and B.
The current CBF presidency model foresees weight three to the votes of the state federations, weight two for the 20 Serie A clubs, and weight one for the votes of the 20 clubs in Serie B.

This Thursday (05/22), the president of Palmeiras, Leila Pereira, justified the incentive to Samir Xaud:
– I support Samir because they are the same guidelines that Palmeiras defends. Decreased state championship, calendar change, professionalization of arbitration. I always fought for the league and this new president has the same guidelines that we defend.
Leila Pereira further stated that the interdiction of the Barueri Arena, which is managed by her, was a punishment given by Reinaldo Carneiro Bastos:

Who is Samir Xaud?
Samir de Araújo Xaud is a native of Boa Vista, Roraima. He is a doctor with specializations in infectiousology and sports medicine. In addition to his career in health, he owns a training center focused on well-being, fitness and quality of life.
In the 2000s, Samir even served as a professional goalkeeper for a brief period. Recently, he has been dedicated to sports management, standing out in charge of the Roraimense Football Federation, where he would replace his father, Zeca Xaud, who will turn 40 as president of the FRF in 2026.
Samir was elected to the maximum position of the FRF in January 2025. He would take office in the term of 2027 to 2031.
Among the main objectives of the Cartola for the CBF are the freedom for clubs to create the Brazilian League and the implementation of the series and the Brasileirão.
