Research from IPESPE (Institute for Social, Political and Economic Research) shows that 55% of Brazilians disapprove of the government, against 30% who welcome the management of the US President.
The survey, conducted May 14 and 19, listened to 2,500 people, with a margin of error of two percentage points.
The data reveal that the rejection of the American is more pronounced among Brazilians who also disapprove of the Lula administration: in this group, 87% have negative assessment of Trump.
Already among those who approve Lula, the disapproval rate of Trump reaches 65%.
That of the American president is also malevist in Brazil.
According to the survey, 47% of respondents disapprove of the way the country has reacting are 39% those who approve of the country’s response to sanctions, while 14% did not know or did not want to answer.
