The worker found an artillery ammunition on Thursday (22 May) in the morning when the metal waste in Holíč (Skalica district). Pyrotechnics found that fortunately it is not a functional piece, but an already fired ammunition. The Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Trnava informed about it on the social network.

The subject was found by a local company worker dealing with metal waste. He immediately notified the police and did not manipulate the subject. “In this case, it was a harmless ammunition, but it was still extremely irresponsible to throw it into scrap. If it were functional, the person would endanger not only himself but also innocent workers of the Kovorot, ”added the police.
