First of all, we should choose the right grill fish. It’s best to grill fatty species, i.e. salmon, mackerel, tuna. It is their meat that does not dry out during processing. We present a recipe for the best grilled fish.

Making fish before grilling is a must. Thanks to this, we enrich its taste. Seasoning can be an alternative to marinades.

What ingredients do we need to marinate the fish? Here is a list for 500 g of meat:

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil;
  • 2 cloves of garlic squeezed by Prague;
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice;
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano;
  • 1 teaspoon of basil;
  • fresh rosemary;
  • 1/2 teaspoon of hot peppers;
  • Salt and pepper to taste;
  • Optional: 1 cm of grated fresh ginger.

To make a marinade, just mix all the ingredients and rub fish fillets with them. Put the prepared fish in the fridge for 30 minutes. Then it will take a taste, but will not lose its structure.

We can grill the fish in full. Then we put it on a hot grill with the leather down and grill without covering until it becomes crunchy. He usually needs about 10 minutes per page. It is worth turning the meat from time to time to avoid it.

Another method is grilling fish in pieces directly on the grate or on a special tray. We do it on medium heat, usually about 4-5 minutes on each side.

Some prepare grilled skewers from fish. We need to cut the salmon, tuna or swordfish into small pieces, which we cover with vegetables, i.e. onions, peppers, zucchini. Put the prepared snacks on an average hot grill. Such meat usually needs 2-3 minutes per page. Remember to rotate them from time to time.

In any case, we recommend slightly liberating the grate. Thanks to this, we will prevent meat from sticking. However, avoid excess oil that can start flames.

Grilled fish should be served with crunchy garlic bread. It tastes great with potatoes baked in uniforms with rosemary, garlic and olive oil.

This meat can also be served with grilled vegetables, i.e. peppers, zucchini, eggplant ,. It is worth pouring them on with a delicate yogurt sauce.

Greek salad, salad with rocket or tomatoes and mozzarella fits the grilled fish. In a refreshing version, we can serve it with grilled fruit – with pineapple, peaches or nectarines with yogurt or whipped cream.
