WINE SHOW LAGOA: FOUR DAYS OF FLAVES, KNOWLEDGE AND GIVEN TRADITION

Between June 6th and 9th, the municipality of Lagoa returns to toast wine lovers with another edition of Lagoa Wine Show, a free entry event that is consolidated as one of the largest wine events in southern Portugal. Recently distinguished with the “Event of Year” award by the Association of Portuguese Municipalities of Wine (AMPV), the event reinforces its importance in the promotion of wine, the algarve identity and the hospitality that characterizes the region.

According to the Lagoa City Council, the promoter of the event, Lagoa Wine Show 2025 “assumes itself as a privileged stage of meeting between Algarve wines and other national and international renowned wine regions, promoting a true cultural and oenological dialogue”.

Inspired by the “Algarve Golden Terroir” concept, the event seeks to value viticulture as a cultural expression and a sustainable economic development motor, promoting to know-how to do algarve, agricultural heritage and the region’s endogenous products.

During the four days of the event, the public will have access to commented tests, showcookings, conversations with winemakers and producers, and will be able to explore the diversity of caste and terroirs present in the national wine panorama.
