Russia and Ukraine have completed the first phase of the largest exchange of war prisoners since 2022. The agreement, reached a week during Turkey mediated conversations, resulted in the release of 780 people. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hardly responded to international criticism of the military offensive in Gaza, directly accusing the leaders of France, the United Kingdom and Canada of being “on the wrong side of humanity” and supporting Hamas.
