The Brazilian tennis player (23rd) was eliminated by Kazakh Elena Rybakina this Friday (23) in the semifinals of the Strasbourg Tournament, NA, with partials of 7-6 (9/7), 1-6 and 6-2. Rybakina, currently in the twelfth position of the women’s ranking, will seek the trophy in the Alsatian city against Russian Liudmila Samsonova (19th), who defeated American Danielle Collins (46th) 6-4 and 6-2.

Bia Haddad, the South American in best position in the world ranking, now travels to Paris to compete in Roland Garros, which starts on Sunday (26). The Brazilian tennis player will face American Hailey Baptiste in the first round.
