Many people do not like a classic black pudding, but this version of crunchy casseroles can conjure up its taste. Prepare good quality black pudding, smoked bacon, onion, and a baguetteit doesn’t have to be fresh, it will work slightly well. You will need: to prepare the casserole:
- 350 g of black pudding,
- 1 long baguette,
- 1 onion
- 100 g of raw smoked bacon,
- Salt and pepper.
Ingredients for sauce:
- 100 g of sweet cream,
- 40 g of yellow cheese with a clear grated taste,
- 1 egg,
- 2 tablespoons of horseradish,
- a bit of thyme,
- Salt and pepper.
Divide the baguette into smaller slices. Set aside for now. Peel and cut the onion into feathers. Cut the bacon into cubes and fry in a dry pan until browned. Add the onion and fry together to vitrify.
Peel the black pudding, cut into slices or crumble and add to the pan. Fry the whole for a few minutes until everything combines. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
In a bowl, mix the cream with egg, grated cheese, horseradish, thyme, salt and pepper.
In a heat -resistant dish, spread a little sauce on the bottom. Now arrange the baguettes. Spread the sauce on them. Then place the stuffing of black pudding, bacon and onions. Repeat the action again, arranging subsequent layers of baguettes, sauce and stuffing.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C (top-down) for about 35-40 minutes until the top is slightly browned and the sauce is cut.
