President participates in event in Mato Grosso; Action aims to recover degraded soils and increase productivity
The president (PT) participates, from 11am, in the launch ceremony of the Solo Vivo program. The event is held at the Santo Antônio da Fartura settlement, in Campo Verde (MT). The ruler will also deliver agricultural machines to the community.

During the event, the Incra (National Institute of Colonization and Reform) will deliver land titles to the settlers.
Living soil aims to recover degraded soil to increase the productivity and competitiveness of family farmers. The program has a partnership with IFMT (Federal Institute of Mato Grosso) and Fetagri/MT (Federation of Agriculture Workers of the State of Mato Grosso).
Mato Grosso will have 10 benefited settlements initially. In addition to Campo Verde, soil collections and analysis are performed on properties of Alto Araguaia, Poconé, Rosario Oeste, Barra do Bugres, São Félix do Araguaia, Matupá, Juína, Pontes and Lacerda and São José dos Quatro Marcos.
