Mourão calls 8/1 Baderna and says he was in the pool when he discovered

In a statement to the Federal Supreme Court (STF) this Friday (23), the senator and former vice president Hamilton Mourão (Republicans-RS) characterized the undemocratic acts that took place in January 8, 2023 as a “rod”.

The statement was in response to former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) lawyer Celso Vilardi, who asked where he was on the day.

Mourão was Former Minister General Augusto Heleno, who commanded the Institutional Security Office (GSI), in the process that investigates an attempt to coup in Brazil after the 2022 elections.

Even though he was vice-president during Bolsonaro’s term, Mourão was not cited in the complaint of the Attorney General’s Office (PGR).
