A body was found between stones last Saturday (24), near the coast of the Lagoinha do Leste trail, in Florianópolis (SC). The place is the same where the Fire Department performs.
According to the firefighters, a fisherman contacted corporation and reported spotting a body between the stones. An aircraft was used to fly over the area that is difficult to reach and confirmed the occurrence.
Due to the large amount of birds in the region and unfavorable climatic conditions and risk to the team, the rescue attempt was once again performed on Sunday (25) and the body removal process has already been completed.
The area is the same where 70 -year -old Argentine elderly, who disappeared on May 15, occur. However, it is not yet possible to confirm whether the body found belongs to the elderly.
Remember the case
Argentine José María Alday, 70, has been missing since the morning of May 15. According to information from the Argentine Consulate, Alday has been in Brazil since May 3, staying at a friend’s house in the Southern Pântano neighborhood. According to report, on the day of the disappearance he left around 10am saying that he would go around and return to lunch, which did not happen.
The elderly wore shorts, shirt and slippers, and carried his Argentine Identity Document (DNI) and a cell phone. He moved around the city using public transportation.
Security cameras images passed on by the Military Police to the Firefighters Operations Center show a man with compatible characteristics walking towards the entrance of the Lagoinha do Leste track. The registration was confirmed after the report of a witness who also claimed to have seen the elderly at the scene.
