Hugo Calderano competes in the final table tennis championship on Sunday (25) in Doha, Qatar, against Chinese Wang Chuqin.
The confrontation marks a reunion between the two athletes a few weeks after Calderano beat Chuqin in the semifinal of the World Cup in Macao. The match will be broadcast from 9:30 am (Brasília time) by Cazétv and SporTV.
Calderano’s campaign in the World Cup is already historic for Brazil. By beating South Korean an Jae-Hyun in the quarterfinals, he surpassed his 2021 performance and secured the first Brazilian medal in the history of the competition. In the semifinal, he starred in an epic match against Chinese Liang Jingkun to advance to the decision.
