With R $ 20.6 million in accelerations and productive chains, the São Paulo Development Agency (ADE Sampa) fosters social impact ventures in areas such as creative economy and sustainability.

ADE Sampa is a body linked to the Secretariat of Economic Development and Labor and the São Paulo City Hall aimed at strengthening and supporting micro and small entrepreneurs interested in starting a business in the outskirts of the state capital.

In just over 11 years, Ade Sampa has accelerated 581 businesses in seven programs.

One of these programs is the ‘All by one’ application, which helps to combat violence against women in Brazil and in more than 30 other countries. The project’s creator, Matheus Lima, explains that it works as follows: users automatically find an interface in the app that simulates a purchase, but it is actually a ready -to -ship relief request.

“This order is sent to three ‘angels’ that the user will have already registered as soon as the app. The relief request comes with the location in real time, even if the person is moving. It is also possible to mark the places potentially risk and signal to others, among other unique functions,” said Lima.

The idea for the venture arose from the case of domestic violence that the creator witnessed at home. At the age of three, he saw his mother, Nice, to be the victim of domestic violence. At the end of technical high school, he used that memory to develop the application as a course completion work (TCC).

Annually, Ade Sampa offers the “Va Tec” intake, acceleration and mentoring program. It was through him that Matheus Lima met Ade Sampa.

“Ade Sampa was essential to structure our business model, understanding the market and preparing for great flights. What many people see today started with the support of ecosystems like this. They were true angels in our journey,” he said.

Currently, the app ‘All for a’ has over 10 million downloads, one million active users in more than 30 countries, and the platform has just launched the first artificial intelligence capable of identifying a hijacked woman and sending relief requests automatically.

Another program of Ade Sampa is Amplifica Cine, in partnership with SPCINE. The audiovisual producer focused on social impact, Monomito Filmes, also underwent an acceleration program.

From the financial contribution and workshops, the business was able to connect with customers and partners, without giving up its peripheral essence. Monomito’s founder Lincoln Pires was created in Itaim Paulista and states that the producer is linked to the universe of culture, marginal aesthetics, graffiti and hip hop.

“Ade Sampa brought a series of tools through Amplifica Cine, which helped us accelerate the business, expand partnerships, increase our revenues in a few months and, especially, integrate technical training with our practical, street experience, which has always been the basis of Monomito. This adequacy between theory and practice made all the difference in our growth,” said Pires.

After contribution and acceleration, monomito expanded the business and has audiovisual productions in strands such as fictional, non -fictional and institutional products. In 2024, the producer hired more than 200 temporary professionals for her productions.

“The idea is to show that audiovisual can be a powerful tool for income generation and productive inclusion, directly contributing to the creative economy in these territories. Currently, we are in a stage of strengthening and innovation, expanding the business not only on scale, but in social depth, creating products that reflect our values and enhance our impact,” said Pires.

Ade Sampa approaches the 10th edition of the “Vai Tec” acceleration and financing program. In the same vein, there are financial support and training programs, such as Green Sampa, Amplifica Cine, Sampa Games, Fashion Sampa, Sampa+Rural and sowing business.

In addition to the edicts, ADE Sampa has 56 care units, both its own and within the Centers of Workers and Entrepreneur (CAT-E). In 2024, more than 385 thousand calls were made to the entrepreneur.

The agency has its training front with the programs Business Factory, more women, my street trade and undertake in beauty.

In parallel, ADE Sampa facilitates the contracting of credit to entrepreneurs through Cred Sampa. Last year, more than 212,000 people were served in the program, with more than $ 55 million released in credit through private, public and financial banks.

The entire innovation ecosystem takes into account the human development index, explains ADE Sampa CEO Renan Vieira. Districts of greatest vulnerability have a differential in score.

“We have many talents hidden in our city that do not have access to information or opportunity to attend the main initiatives. ADE SAMPA has this look to make edicts available so that this abyss, from the point of view of training, is exceeded. We want to generate opportunities and allow peripheral businesses to dispute on the business of other regions of the city,” said Vieira.
