Minister of Education Tomáš Drucker (voice-SD) refuses to plan the coalition after the annual budget in the National Council (NR) SR to provoke early elections, As the representatives of the opposition movement Slovakia claims. Opposition MP of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Ivan Štefunko (PS) has criticized the coalition that he has not yet provided address aid, for example, in the event of energy prices. They said this on Sunday in the TA3 discussion session in politics.
“These are absolutely nonsense, there are no such debates. It is to prepare a quality budget on what we want to focus on, of course to stabilize those tasks that are ahead of us,” He said Drucker. Štefunko also criticized the government parties due to the low level of investors’ arrival in Slovakia or the economic situation of the country.
According to Drucker, sanctions against Russia do not work well for the attack of Ukraine. According to him, European countries are still buying Russian oil and gas, but only mediated and more expensive. Štefunko responded that the Czech Republic, which has been cut off from Russian raw materials, has energy prices lower than Slovakia.
The Minister of Education declared his party’s preferences that his voice-SD is stable. He refused to discuss the change of party leadership, including its chairman Matúš Šutaj Eštok. “We will have to respond louder to some things,” he said. He thinks that the party also commented aloud on the journey of Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) to Moscow. The opposition MP will see how he will vote at the next government meeting, where the ministers should additionally approve the Prime Minister’s journey.
At the same time, the deputy also criticized the discussion on the changes in the payment of the state contribution for the election for political parties. “We are the strongest party in Slovakia and we are convinced that we will get there, but we are in favor of being a fair political competition, not to decide the money, who can enter the political ring or not,” he said. Drucker claims that he registers this discussion, but is dedicated to her primary Minister of the Interior Šutaj Eštok. He said that the change of one constituency is a legitimate voice-SD topic for years.
