Israeli military attacks killed at least 20 Palestinians throughout the Gaza Strip on Sunday, including a local journalist and a high rescue service official, local health officials said.

They resulted from Israel’s offensive in Khan Younis in the South, Jabalia, north, and Nusirat, in the center of the Gaza Strip, doctors said.

In Jabalia, local journalist Hassan Majdi Abu Warda and family members were killed by an air strike that hit their home earlier this Sunday, they added.

Another air strike in Nusastar killed Ashraf Abu nar, a high employee of the territory’s emergency civil service, and his wife, who were at his home, the doctors said.

There were no immediate comments from the Israeli army.

The Gaza Government press office, managed by Hamas, said the death of Abu Warda has raised to 220 the number of Palestinian journalists killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

The armed arm of Hamas and Islamic jihad said in separate communications on Sunday that combatants made several ambushes and attacks with anti -triggering bombs and rockets against Israeli forces operating in various areas of Gaza.

On Friday (23), the Israeli army said it had performed more attacks at the enclave at night, reaching 75 targets, including weapon storage facilities and rocket launchers.

Israel launched one in Gaza after the Hamas Militant Transfronist Attack on October 7, 2023, which killed 1,200 people, according to Israeli estimates, and kidnapped 251 hostages in Gaza.

The conflict has killed more than 53,900 Palestinians, according to Gaza’s health authorities, and devastated the coastal track. They claim that they are widespread.
